England
And did those feet in ancient time, walk upon England’s mountains green?
Jerusalem by William Blake
The green rolling hills and mountains of Albion still share mystical secrets in spite of rapid modernisation. Turn away from the beaten track and stone circles and megalithic sites still reveal themselves.
While Stonehenge may be the most famous site in England, few places hold such magic as Glastonbury (an Avalon) where Joseph of Arimathea is believed to have landed in England and established early Christianity. It’s White Spring and Red Spring, the masculine and feminine arteries, emerge from Glastonbury Tor with its iconic tower and it’s hidden dragon’s egg. The White Spring flows into a bath house that allow you to immerse yourself in the waters of the spring surrounded by candlelight and altars to Brigid with her Swans and Our Lady of Avalon.
This is the land of King Arthur and Guinevere, of the Knights of the Roundtable and chivalry and lions.
